Saturday seminar to replace full conference
After a great deal of feedback from the network we’ve made the decision to postpone the full Pinnacle conference, but offer a shorter, sharper seminar on Saturday.
The decision was made after network members suggested a whole weekend would be hard to commit to following the GP CME conferences in Christchurch and Rotorua and the PMAANZ conference on the same dates, on top of the high patient demand currently being seen across the network.
It was decided that continuing on with the conference, when much of the intended audience would be unable to attend at this time, would not be the best use of Pinnacle funding.
We will now be running a free seminar on Saturday 6 September with the two international speakers Dr Naresh Rati of Vitality Partnership, Birmingham talking about the opportunities of general practice at scale, and Dr Arvind Madan of Hurley Group, London, talking about using technology to increase self-care performance management.
This will be in the River Room at the MHN Hamilton office, 711 Victoria Street, Hamilton from 10.30 am – 3pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and CME points will still be available.
We’re postponing the Pinnacle event and 25 year celebration dinner until February, and will be in touch with details shortly.
If you would like to come along to either event, please email email@example.com, call 07 839 8222 or you can register online here: https://www.midlandshn.health.nz/SeminarRegistration
